We value the individuality of each child and family system, which drives our commitment to meet each family where they are in their journey and guide them in the next steps towards their goals. We use evidenced-based strategies and age-appropriate, motivational activities during assessment and treatment. We combine parent priorities, teacher observations, and clinical expertise to create individualized and functional treatment plans. Each session utilizes structured, systematic interventions paired with a healthy dose of encouragement, praise, and scaffolding to ensure progress. The best way to learn a new skill is through practice. Following each session, practice work will be provided to continue progress between therapy sessions and we prioritize collaborating with teachers to maximize skill development in all the child's learning environments.
Our therapists are a team of lifelong learners and problem solvers. We hold a high standard of being informed of the most effective teaching strategies in order to help each child reach their potential as well as striving to be a useful resource to our community. We value the uniqueness of each child and are committed to meet them where they are in their journey towards success. We understand the irreplaceable role parents play in a child's life. To empower parents to be their child's most influential educator, we take care to answer questions and explain relevant information in an accessible way for practical application to school and life at home.

Since 2005, I have provided speech, language, and literacy services to children in a variety of settings: public and private schools, in-home early intervention, intensive therapy camps, and private clinics. I also instruct future teachers at a local community college within their education department. Over the years, my practice has been enriched through specialized training, working alongside talented professionals, and collaborating with knowledgeable families. I find great joy in helping children reach communication and academic success, especially in the youngest of learners. An equal love of mine is investing in adult learners through parent and teacher coaching - empowering educators to create an environment that fosters child development and learning. I hold a MS in Speech Language Pathology from the University of the District of Columbia and my Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
In addition to professional experience, much of what I offer as a therapist is rooted in my roles as a wife and mother. As a family, we love being active -- going on walks, riding bikes, camping and playing sports. You can also find us engaged in a DIY project, playing cards, negotiating board game rules, or relaxing with a movie.
I received a MS in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University and am licensed by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). Since 2008, I have provided speech & language therapy for children and families in school, home and clinic settings. I have experience treating a wide range of communication disorders as well as supporting literacy development with a strength based approach. My therapeutic approach includes building strong relationships with children and families and helping children meet speech and language goals while incorporating strategies to support sensory processing and executive functioning. Supported by the principle that movement facilitates language, I always strive to incorporate movement and joy to provide a play based setting in which natural communication can grow and each child is proud of their success!
I have a great love for the outdoors and in my free time I spend as much time as possible outside with my husband and three energetic sons.
I have been in education for nearly 15 years. I absolutely love the kids! Watching a student gain confidence and grow as a reader is truly something extraordinary. I have 6 kids and live in Centennial, CO.
I attended Benedictine College and earned a B.A. in elementary education. I also have been trained in Orton Gillingham and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in many strategies.
I am a dedicated advocate and educator with a rich background in the healthcare and education industry. After caring for my younger sister, who tragically passed away from a TBI in 2023, I re-evaluated my career and now work part-time for a dynamic startup supporting family caregivers and patient advocates. I am passionate about learning differences and disabilities, as my daughter (now 10) was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age. This has continued to fuel my commitment to education and support, particularly in helping families better understand their role in their child’s academic success inside and outside of the classroom.
With a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver, I have had experience developing curricula on resiliency, learning styles, executive function, academic supports, and the high school-to-college transition's impact on mental health. Additionally, I hold a degree in Health Administration, emphasizing the importance of navigating the healthcare system, particularly in the aging community.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and two daughters (6 and 10), enjoying our beautiful Colorado outdoors, cheering on soccer and basketball games and reading any book I can get my hands on.
I am an occupational therapist with a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential. I earned a doctorate in occupational therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in 2019. I specialize in working with kids who face neurologically based difficulties, helping them develop skills and strategies to succeed in daily life.
Through creative problem-solving and evidence-based approaches, I focus on breaking down barriers and fostering confidence and independence. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish (and conversational in French), which allows me to connect with families from diverse backgrounds and create inclusive, culturally sensitive solutions. I’m deeply committed to helping everyone I work with discover their strengths and thrive.
When I am not working you can find me reading a good book, traveling to a new city or exploring the great outdoors.
As a writer and editor, I’ve spent my career helping people and organizations find the right words to connect with their audience — first pundits and political candidates, then global PR firms and small businesses, international and national Christian ministries, a startup Catholic apostolate here in Denver, and more.
Now I’m delighted to bring that communications experience to Mountain Top Therapy Services walking alongside families, therapists, and educators who want the best for the children they love. This role evolved out of heart-to-heart conversations with friends, where we shared our hopes, questions, and wins in advocating for our children. To those friendships and to this work, I bring a positive attitude, a calm demeanor, and a foundation of joy and gratitude.
My writing has been published in Denver Catholic, and has helped raise millions of dollars for ministries and political candidates. I graduated from The Catholic University of America with a B.A. in English Language and Literature. I live with my husband and three children in Denver.
I am a Colorado native who grew up near Colorado Springs. After obtaining my B.A. degree in humanities with an emphasis in English literature and music from the University of Colorado, Boulder, I moved to the Denver area and spent about a decade working in the non-profit sector, mostly in the event management space. After getting married, moving to California and starting a family, I eventually found my way back to the Colorado Springs area; and after six joyful years staying home with my two young daughters, I decided to get back into the nonprofit world, doing marketing, development and events. Now, I am excited to be a part of the wonderful team at Mountain Top Therapy Services providing practical organization and development expertise.
Outside work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two girls. We enjoy live music, travel, and playing in the great Colorado outdoors.
